Cherina: For 10 years now, but I've been hairdressing for 20 years.
Cherina: All the aspects of hairdressing. We mainly do a lot of colouring and cutting. Perms are coming back so we're doing a lot of them. We use Loreal here which is a product which I'm very confident with. We really rely on it to complement our work. Karestas is another product that's extrememly important. We're the only one from Grafton to Byron Bay to have it, we're a selected salon to keep it so that's very important. We do a lot of weddings - weddings are important, to me it's an honour, you're' being asked to do something very important on that day - it's a lifetime memory. And all special occasions like that. We do your basic facial beauty work - eye lash tinting, facial waxing.
We have a new lightening product, it's a new technology for for the new generation of highlights. Being ammonia free, it means hair stays shiny, healthy and as soft as a feather. For the month of May, we are offering a Sorbet Lipgloss with every Platinum by L'Oreal Professional lightening.
Cherina: We like to offer our clients the ultimate experience every time, any occasion. We are here to advise you, listen to you, guide you while you indulge yourself with our hair services. We have not only tea and coffee but offer you cappuccinos and a large range of Lipton Herbal teas to suit everyone. One of the things we offer as Kerastase Consultants is not just a treatment but an "Indulgence Ritual". It's always an experience at Charmaine's Hair Salon!
They're good people to work with - you spend a lot of time at work so you have to enjoy your work. Your clients aren't just clients - they become like family and friends. For me, 2006 was year a very special one as I celebrated 20 years hairdressing and 10 years in business in March 2007. I'd like to thank the clients who have supported mo on this journey, and welcome many more to come and see why so many enjoy their visits. No one is just a client here. Cherina: Dannielle has been here for nearly three years and Tahlia is our Saturday girl and has been here for about 12 months, we're all local and we support everything locally. We try to get involved with a lot of local activities. Advertising usually covers sponsorships so you try to get involved with sports and activities like that.
